Eyebrow marking methods
11/06/2020
One of the very first steps in getting started with eyebrows is the correct layout. Someone works, so to speak, but someone likes perfect symmetry and uses markup.
Everyone chooses how it is most convenient for him to work, but if you are a beginner or just want to paint the edges symmetrically for yourself, then our article is for you!
And perhaps experienced craftsmen will emphasize something.
Now there are many options for building the shape of the eyebrow. But the classic markup remains unchanged.
Three main points are distinguished: the beginning of the eyebrow (or the head, base), apex (the top of the eyebrow, bend) and the tip of the eyebrow. But the basis for the construction of the form is still
natural growth and shape of the eyebrow. It’s not necessary to try to draw yourself absolutely “alien” eyebrows; it’s important to be able to emphasize and highlight the beauty of your own.
One of the most common methods for marking eyebrows is a white pencil ruler and vernier caliper.
Using a ruler or vernier caliper, you can easily identify the main points, and point them with a pencil and display the future shape.
We have several types of rulers and pencils:
- rulers with and without elastic, with a recess for the nose and without;
- white pencils (wax-based, soft) and powdery colored (for techniques of dyeing eyebrows over the pencil).
